This four piece act hails from Cordenons, Italy, and has sent us its first professional release (previously they released a demo tape), a 4 song mini album entitled “Dimlight”, where song titles like ‘Last Vision Of A Dying World’ or ‘Black Light Of My Sun’ don’t say so much about what the band is performing. In my opinion their sound is an interesting mixture of Black and Death Metal influences managed with some experimental touches and a raw sound, really hard to describe in some words, because sometimes they sound like “Rebel Extravaganza” era – Satyricon but with the rawer production of “Dark Medieval Times” mixed with some cool ideas in the vein of (godly) Voivod (“Dimension Hatross”) and some Death Thrash touches à la Merciless, but there are some points they must improve, because the sound suffers of heaviness, due to its rawness the final product is a bit weak (I’m not saying they have to add blast beats to make their sound heavier). Also you must improve your english guys, because there are some spelling mistakes that need to be corrected. All in all, “Dimlight” is a good beginning, I’m pretty sure that their next step shall be notoriously superior, anyway, ask your moms for some bucks and send them to: Bellotto Fabiano, Via Delle Fornaci 13, 33084 Cordenons (PN), Italy or contact them at: sidustenebrarum@libero.it; www.sidustenebrarum.com
