SLAINE come from the Czech Republic and play well played technical / progressive Death Metal with some cool ideas. But what’s missing here is a good and challenging sound that underlines the ideas of the band. The sound isn’t really bad but it sounds too weak for this kind of music. Especially the snare drums and the guitars are not my cup of tea. But at least all instruments can be heard and distinguished very well. They have a cool bass player in the band who plays most of the guitarlines and sets some cool trademarks with his work! I like that and I hope that the band will have a more powerful sound next time as they know how to write good songs and how to handle their instruments! Thumbs up!
