“Spartanic” is an understatement when it comes to Century Media promo albums: just a plain CD is usually all you get, so I can’t give you any information about this band, sorry. SOLEFALD offer a fresh approach to extreme music: first of all there is Black Metal, then we have melancholic Metal songs I can’t really put into a drawer and finally there are strong rock elements with piano, hammond and spacy synthe sounds. On one hand this makes “Pills…” a somewhat confusing album that probably won’t attract too many fans. On the other hand, SOLEFALD are surely not gonna start boring you. Good album but try to listen to it in advance. Not my cup of tea.
