STORMCROW
Hell On Earth
(self-financed)

After zillions of corpse painted musicians that all claimed to be the most evil and extreme throughout the last couple of years, it certainly has become more and more difficult to establish a band within the Black Metal scene nowadays. And the fact that STORMCROW are hailing from Milan in sunny Italy probably won’t help them too much either (I suppose the opposite is a lot closer to the actual truth here…). Anyway, these four blasphemous warriors recorded their five song debut demo in Malibu Studio (a.o. Steve Sylvester, Necrodeath etc.) in early 2000 and also went for a high quality packaging (full colored glossy cover with lyrics and pro duplicated cassettes) and their logo was designed by famous underground artist Christophe Spajdel. Unfortunately their music doesn’t live up to all that as STORMCROW turn out to be just another faceless Black Metal band with no own identity and an even bigger lack of a dark and eerie atmosphere. This is just fast played, straight ahead Black Metal, nothing more, nothing less. A more dedicated songwriting, with bigger emotional input would be nice for a change if these guys should seriously practicing what they pretend to preach. No price mentioned, but feel free to ask for all further info at the following e-mail address: darkplace@yacc.it or check out the STORMCROW website at: www.stormcrow.it
