STRYCHNOS
Armageddon Patronage

Denmark is undoubtedly one of the most active countries in the underground nowdays. A solid number of important bands are contributing with the international scene and their echoes are more and more valued each day, as they have been increasing their connections outside the country and Europe by receiving a stronger support from local and international labels and festivals. But STRYCHNOS is not an emerging band by any means, they have been spreading their pest for over 26 years now, playing a very consistent Black / Death Metal throughout the years. Keep it simple! STRYCHNOS is as hard as steel! I remember the impressions I had of their previous album “A Mother’s Curse” from 2022 through Dark Descent Records. Hard and STRYCHNOS as hell! And this is one of the facts I like the most if I’m going to say a word about STRYCHNOS, they are not speculating. They are walking the path they’re supposed to and are not interested in betraying their origins, their outbreak of evil. With eight tracks that come to feed the hunger for an ominous wind that wants to destroy everyting while pale black birds fly through the sky, crying babies announce the end of mankind and a suicidal pandemic is likely to arise, STRYCHNOS is yet to do its part! A complete darkening! And yes, this is what the deal is! Total chaos! The nearest Armageddon revealed so far! This new album “Armageddon Patronage” was put out again through Dark Descent Records and it becomes one of the pieces you need to grab this year.
