Dawn Of Kezef

This Spanish band’s self-released two track release "Dawn Of Kezef" (which saw the dawn of light last year, when it was released as a digital ‘single’) has now been re-released by Equinox Discos on cassette and 7" EP, not long before SUSPIRAL’s debut full length ("Delve Into The Mysteries Of Transcendence") will hit us, which I, Voidhanger will unleash onto mankind. It is quite nice to see this release on physical medias, as I don’t think we have to discuss much, to agree on that music on a physical media, is somewhat more nice than a digital release, especially when the music is done well. SUSPIRAL is a quite new band that excels in the dark and eerie area of chaotic and mysterious Death Metal, especially the opening section of ‘Devoured Hearts’ I can’t help thinking of INCANTATION and "Onward To Golgotha". SUSPIRAL is taking their music further than a clone of the before mentioned nephilims, though are wandering in the dark and muddy waters of dark, raw, chaotic, ambient Death Metal which has received a revived heyday. The two tracks on the this release are quite enjoyable, well written tunes with some good hooks in midst of all the chaos and darkness, and well executed subtle synths, which have made me look forward to the full length. The band is made out of A.T. and M.S. A.T. is also handling guitars in BODYBAG which I raved over last year, the newcommer to take TERRORIZER’s long lost throne, he is here handling guitars, synths and some of the vocals, while M.S. is handling guitars and the other parts of the vocals, those two have made a great brotherhood of darkness, which I am looking forward to follow, if this two tracker is a sign of what to come. www.facebook.com/dawnofsuspiral, www.equinoxdiscos.es
