Oh well, there are times in which just by looking at a cover artwork of a CD you probably get the feel, in the back of your mind, that for some reason you will totally dislike what you are about to listen. Unfortunately, SWAMP did not prove it wrong. It is amazing how a label challenge customers intelligence and good taste in music even trying to put a stamp on this MCD marketing that as “old school Hellenic Black / Death Metal inspired by Zemial / Varathron / Necromantia”. Sorry guys, you are seriously dumb or deaf if you even dare to compare this lackluster of a band with the most respectable names of the Hellenic scene. Seriously, it ain’t funny to be cheated on purchasing bands like SWARM that quite frankly lacks any feeling, aggression or even decent musicanship to at a minimum say “Well, they are not the greatest band around, but…”. No way! extremely sucky music structures, sloopy playing and last but not least bad production will make a repeated listen to this impossible. Get away from this MCD as much as possible.
