THE BLACK DISORDER
The Acceptance Of Humiliation

All I know is that this band is from Poland and some of their members are or were involved in some other bands, one of them SINISTER. But no, this is not Death Metal. Actually although they label themselves as Black Metal, the production, the guitar tone and the music itself, this is more likely a Death Metal band playing Black Metal for the sake of it. The final result is not that bad, it actually reminds me of MAYHEM’s debut album. OK, the vocals can also be put in the Black Metal realm, and the drumming, which might be programmed, has also a Black Metal touch to it. But the riffs in here cannot deny their Death Metal roots. And that is good, as we have some killer solos and many riffs that are melodic yet deadly at the same time. Besides the aforementioned Norwegian legend, some other bands they remind me of are the more Black Metal era BEHEMOTH and EMPEROR, yet again with that heavy and crustal guitar sound. The production I must mention is great too. As I told before, there is no drummer in the line-up so I’m sure it’s a programmed drums, and that takes in fact a bit of power from the music, it gives a more mechanic soulless sound, and sometimes here and there parts sound similar. That is where a human drummer, with all its imperfection, gives the music that human feel that enhances the music. Interesting if nothing original, but again give it a try and worship the dark one. www.facebook.com/theblackdisorder, www.facebook.com/ibdc666
