THE LORD WEIRD SLOUGH FEG
Traveller Supplement 1: The Ephemeral Glades

Heavy Metal with passion, that’s what THE LORD WEIRD SLOUGH FEG puts one more time on the table. This new EP, “Traveller Supplement 1: The Ephemeral Glades”, arrives not as a simple comeback but as an extension, a new chapter in a long saga full of mythology and a huge classic Metal spirit. It has character, personality. THE LORD WEIRD SLOUGH FEG has always been a band rooted in the traditional Heavy Metal corners, but intellectually orbiting somewhere far more obscure. And this is exactly what I like about them. I found this EP as a return to a world where that charm that the band has kept for nearly four decades now is still circulating all across the EP. I also think that the way they build their songs is very well balanced, offering us a genuine next page. I like the vocals, it sounds like a man who has lived in ten dimensions, telling us stories about exile, mutation, revenge and beauty in frozen wastelands. And the band around of course. Magical! This Is Heavy Metal. As simple as that. And even though the EP is under 23 minutes, it doesn’t feel slight, not at least “when seconds count” (SURVIVOR). Here every second counts, hopefully serving the bigger picture, a part of something much larger. Maybe for the old fans, this EP feels like a reward and if you are new to THE LORD WEIRD SLOUGH FEG, this EP might result in an excellent door to the world that this band can create. I’ll be playing this one a lot. And I’ll be hoping for “Supplement 2”. Check them out! www.facebook.com/sloughfegofficial, www.facebook.com/cruzdelsurmusic
