This young Finnish melodic Death Metal outfit uses the following slogan about themselves: "Bad feeling(-s) at its best…", whatever strange associations each of us might draw out of it for ourselves. Anyways, this 5-piece act sounds well rehearsed on their debut 3-track EP titled "One". Most of the time the guys rely on up ‘n’ fast tempos and lotsa technical execution of their songs, in which they have found a nice balance between aggressive, sort of ‘ we will come down on your neck’ parts and melodic sections, harking back to the times when the Gothenburg scene first started melting some blackened, teeny-weeny BODOM-esque Death Metal with some melodic MAIDEN-ish ingredients – and very successfully even as we all can still remember. As for single songs, I must admit there’s a really kick-ass beginning in the 2nd song on this EP, ‘Your Blood In My Veins’, which is kicked off by a nice, flirting foreplay of bass’ sound. Then again, this particular seems to represent TORCHIA as its most varying form while the 2 other tracks, seem to push through all the barricades on their way, like a rapidly speeding up bullet train or something. It also sounds like the guys are full of certain freshness and beautiful enthusiasm to make things happening for them, and nothing should stop them either if they just kept on delivering their goods as convincingly in the future too, just like they did on this promising EP already.
