If it comes to the essential ten commandments of Black Metal the latest Art of Propaganda release is doing it utmost to fulfill as much as possible. Black/White cover, a band logo hardly to identify – thanks to the artist Krieghetzer (the missing letter ‘s’ in this German word was for sure intentional!) – lyrics about hate and death and a style between old DARKTHRONE and a handful of another true Black Metal supporters. But WOLFTHRONE are not another highspeed Black Metal disaster – the Spanish band is not completely limited to this area and the passing 24 minutes are not giving to much room for criticism. "Unleash The Hate" the first real release after 9 years of true underground dedication is a solid piece of traditional Black Metal with not a single new influence – true to the bone – and the year 2009 has seen far worst examples within this style. Especially if the band slows down a little bit the guitars are in the position to give this release another, better, darker face.
