WORTH THE PAIN

There’s always some demand for a hysteric and aggressive metallic Hardcore / Thrash, right? I mean, whenever your emotional side gets possessed by some wicked inner demons that command you to get your head pounded against a heavy brick wall for whatever reasons. WORTH THE PAIN, this 5-piece act from the eastern part of Finland, near by the Russian border – Lappeenranta, is the kind of act I often tend to listen to when feeling pissed off, angry, frustrated and so on, (eh!)…, for whatever reasons really. The band’s very Thrash-orientated Hardcore simply spoils severely with pure hate and sheer anarchy – and these lads’ new 8-track EP, titled "No Rest No Peace", makes no exception. The guys are in their own element by churning out in-yer-face and punishing type of Hardcore / Thrash, having this unbreakable attitude feel of integrity strongly attached to their stuff, too. Remembering back in time just for a few years only, I really dug the hell out of this bunch’s "For The Bitter End" record that was released in 2008 – and since those times WORTH THE PAIN have fortunately managed to keep their intensity and aggression levels high enough – actually up to this very EP – release in question, which is something that should make them somewhat proud of as well. WORTH THE PAIN ooze a great amount of that beautiful, unrelenting power and energy that you want to fill your body and mind with from time to time. Today was my day for doing so – and believe it or not but somebody feels so darn relieved now. Thank you WORTH THE PAIN. Check them at: www.myspace.com/turnandrunrecords
