From the label Unspeakable Axe, imprint of Dark Descent Records and citadel for quality Death / Thrash bands, comes the fuckin’ cool French band ZOLDIER NOIZ. Lots of D-Beat drumming calls to mind earliest VOIVOD and CELTIC FROST, while the heads-down riffing and young Max Cavalera vocals give the entire package a post apocalyptic feel. Bad tempered, dirty, and ancient, this album is for the drunken party that has turned into an out of control brawl. Not content to stay at D-Beat tempos, ZOLDIER NOIZ occasionally stomps the accelerator to veer into bouts of primitive Grindcore, à la REPULSION. ‘Vacant Worlds’ and ‘Filthy Few’ burst through the gates at "Horrified" speeds, before pummeling the listener with facebreaking and pissed off downstroked Thrash riffs. A RAZOR tour with VOMITOR and these guys would make a fine feast for the ex – convict and hooligan brawler crowd of metalheads… In closing, if you are partial to no bullshit and to the point, old style Road Warrior Metal, ZOLDIER NOIZ is a band for you.
