"Födelsen", the sophomore album from Vänersborg, Sweden based Black Metal two-piece MURDRYCK is out now via Leviaphonic Records on CD, cassette and digital formats. A vinyl edition is planned for mid June, early July via Growls From The Underground. Guitarist Skärseld’s had this to say about the album: "Födelsen wasn’t too difficult an album to write but was hard to finish. Half the album was written as early as 2016 and the writing was essentially completed in 2017. The mixing took several weeks in 2018 and took two or three attempts until the album had the sound I was looking for. The album is, essentially, our rebirth. A new vocalist, and better songs than our debut, has given the band the start I was hoping for back in 2015. The album is simpler yet more complex; the songs more consistent yet varied; a 90s sound yet still modern and not dated. There are a lot of nuances to listen out for and everything has earned its place." A full album stream is available at this location. More about MURDRYCK at www.facebook.com/murdryck

The EP track ‘Bad Gateway’ is available for streaming here. Vocalist Emma Lytle commented on the EP as follows: "The ideas behind the album, and VAULT DWELLER in general, are a mix between taking a non-serious approach to Grind, and writing serious music about issues / feelings that are close to us. The music we write together is very methodical yet straight experimentation every time. Lyrics-wise I write about anything we’re feeling; our inevitable post-apocalyptic future, from that dumb joke we made during practice, the pitfalls of social media and ego, dissociating because of anxiety, or being mad at the cops for always shutting down our shows. Themes and feelings of a post-apocalyptic society are prevalent in both our music and lyrics." VAULT DWELLER will appear live at this year’s Maryland Deathfest XVII on May 26, 2019 at Soundstage in Baltimore Maryland.
