Mexico based Death Metallers SUMMONING DEATH have signed a deal with Chaos Records for the release of their debut album “The House That Screamed”, which will be released later this year. The band started as a side project of Ricardo Gil (ex – DENIAL) and Francisco Aguilar (SHUB NIGGURATH) in early 2010 with the idea of playing Death / Doom Metal in the old Swedish and Finnish vein. Despite various line-up problems the band still managed to record two demos: "Cadaveric Environment” (2014) and “A Window From An Evil Place” (2015). In December 2017 they finally entered Dark Sound Studios in Cancun, Mexico with a new line-up again to record their debut full-length “The House That Screamed". It was produced, engineered and mixed by Geiler May and mastered by Dan Lowndes at Resonance Sound. The artwork was created by John Quevedo Janssens Illustrador. All 1991 – 1993 demo recordings from Finnish Death Metallers CARNIFEX will officially be re-released on CD via Xtreem Music with remastered sound, enhanced cover artwork by Chris Moyen and a booklet full of photos, flyers, demo covers and liner notes. In detail the "Pathological Rites" entitled compilation will feature the "Decadence" demo, the split demo with FESTERDAY (both from 1991), "Demo III" and a rehearsal recording (both from 1993). Swedish Black Metallers CRAFT have released a first track from their forthcoming new album "White Noise And Black Metal" over here. It is the band’s first release in seven years and the direct follow-up to the "Void" album from 2011. The cover artwork was created by Polish artist Zbigniew Bielak and the full tracklist reads as follows: ‘The Cosmic Sphere Falls’, ‘Again’, ‘Undone’, ‘Tragedy Of Pointless Games’, ‘Darkness Falls’, ‘Crimson’, ‘Shadow’ and ‘White Noise’. The album was produced at Studio Gröndahl, Stockholm, Sweden with Karl Daniel Lidén and guitarist / bassplayer Joakim Karlsson and the mix and mastering was done by Karl Daniel Lidén at Tri-Lamb Studios. In support of the album the band issued the following comment: "We have been waiting for the right time to record and release something new. In line with the CRAFT tradition, we needed everything to feel right and our tracks to fully express what we want to do at this stage. We always take our time, but our work is always in our minds; CRAFT are not, and have never been at rest, and we intend the band to last for a lifetime. At last, we are ready and proud to release the opening track, ‘The Cosmic Sphere Falls’ from our forthcoming album, "White Noise And Black Metal". Algerian Death Metallers LELAHELL have been signed by Metal Age Productions. The band’s second album "Alif" is scheduled for release sometime in Spring / early Summer 2018. LELAHELL guitarist Redouane Aouameur issued the following statement about the new recording deal: "We are super excited to start a new chapter of LELAHELL worldwide with Metal Age Productions. This is the label we wanted to work with for the future because of their strong presence and awesome distribution.“ The album was mixed and mastered at Hertz Studio (VADER, BEHEMOTH, HATE) and the cover artwork has been created by Killustrations (ABORTED, AMON AMARTH, DEATH ANGEL, DEW-SCENTED). The drums on "Alif" were performed by Hannes Grossmann (ALAKLOID, ex – OBSCURA, ex – NECROPHAGIST). LELAHELL will be playing three shows in Spain later this month. "Sealed Shut", the one and only demo from Atlanta, Georgia based disbanded Death Metallers HAUNTING will be released on vinyl via Boris Records on May 08, 2018. It was originally self-released by the band in a small run of cassettes in 2014. The vinyl version will include an added "Intro" track that never made it onto the original tape release.
