Finnish Doom / Deathers ORDOG have inked a deal with Godeater Records. The new album "The Grand Wall" will be released on June 30, 2016. It includes six brand new tracks. The band has also announced that they are parting ways with their second guitarist Ilkka Kalliainen. Italian Black Metallers DARKEND will release their third full-length "The Canticle Of Shadows" on April 25, 2016 via Non Serviam Records. To celebrate their 25th anniversary, Spanish Death Metallers AVULSED will start recording a double album entitled "Deathgeneration" today. It will include 18 of their best songs from all their albums, EPs and demos. The album will be released as a deluxe double digipak CD with slipcase and a 40 pages booklet. The original versions of the songs will be featured on disc 2. The release will also be available as a double gatefold 12" LP and double cassette with slipcase. A very limited black boxset with silver foiled logo will also be made (100 copies), which will contain the 2 CD, 2 LP and 2 MC editions. This special cassette release can only be obtained in this boxset that will come with a t-shirt, poster, signed photo card, sticker, patch, badge, guitar pick and other goodies. The 2 CD, 2 LP and t-shirt can be obtained separately or in bundles too. For this ambitious and expensive project AVULSED will start a crowfunding campaign during the next months. The "Deathgeneration" cover artwork will again be created by Juanjo Castellano, who already worked on the two latest AVULSED covers. No less than 16 very special guest vocalists from various other bands will be featured on the re-recordings: Peter (VADER), Barney (NAPALM DEATH), Tomas Lindberg (AT THE GATES), Sven (ABORTED), Antti Boman (DEMILICH), Chris Reifert (AUTOPSY), Per Böder (GOD MACABRE), Anton Reisenegger (PENTAGRAM CHILE), Kam Lee (ex – MASSACRE), Rogga Johansson (PAGANIZER), Mike Van Mastrigt (ex – SINISTER), Ville Koskela (PURTENANCE), Will Rahmer (MORTICIAN), Ludo (SUPURATION), Johan Jansson (INTERMENT) and Paul Zavaleta (DETERIOROT). "Deathgeneration" is scheduled for a next autumn release, right before the two very special 25th anniversary shows that AVULSED will play in Madrid (November 19, 2016) and Barcelona (November 26, 2016). Temple Of Darkness Records have just re-released "Dances From Left", the 1993 debut full-length from Finnish Death Metallers MORDICUS on CD. The album was originally released by Thrash Records and this new re-release features 7 bonus tracks (from the "Wrathorn" promo 1992, the "Threeway Dissection" EP 1992 and "Grown Under Shade Of Sorrow" demo 1991). Pennsylvania based Black Metallers CHAOS MOON will release an extended digipak CD version of their latest EP "Amissum" on March 18, 2016 through Hellthrasher Productions. Compared to the original version (which was self-released by the band digitally in September 2015), the CD edition will contain two previously unreleased bonus tracks (‘Resurrection III’ and ‘Amissum’).
