Raleigh, North Carolina based Death Thrashers SUPPRESSIVE FIRE have just released a song from their upcoming debut full-length "Bedlam". You can check out ‘Ironsights’ right here. On January 15, 2016 Metal Blade Records will release a 30th anniversary boxset from Bay Area Heavy / Thrash Metallers HEXX. It will be entitled “Under The Spell” and includes the band’s "Under The Spell" and "No Escape" albums, as well as the "Under The Spell" 9 song demo from 1985, the "Paradox" 3 song demo from 1983, six new songs from 2013 / 2014 and five live bonus tracks. All songs have been remastered by Achim Koehler (PRIMAL FEAR, BRAINSTORM, KAMELOT etc.). German Thrashers PROTECTOR will release their new album "Cursed And Coronated" on February 26, 2016 via High Roller Records on CD and limited edition vinyl LP. Three of the songs already appeared on demos and split singles between 2011 and 2013 while seven of the songs are brand new. Vocalist Martin Missy just issued the following statement: "I think that fans who liked "Reanimated Homunculus" will like "Cursed And Coronated" as well. "That’s a safe guess, as the band stay true to themselves with evil, fast, cutting and slicing old school Thrash in the true PROTECTOR vein". "Cursed And Coronated" was recorded in May 2015 at Sunlight Studio in Sweden with producer is Tomas Skogsberg. The mastering was done by Patrick W. HAIL OF BULLETS have parted ways with singer Martin van Drunen. On their official Facebook page www.facebook.com/hailofbulletsofficial the band issued the following statement: "We are sorry to announce that Martin van Drunen is no longer part of HAIL OF BULLETS. On a personal level it’s no longer possible for us to continue the cooperation with Martin. Unfortunately this means we have to cancel all upcoming shows until further notice. This does not mean the end of HAIL OF BULLETS. The main reason for starting this band 8 years ago was our mutual love for real Death Metal and to have fun playing our favourite kind of music and we did not want to lose this ‘fun part’. We acknowledge the fact that Martin’s a good singer with a distinctive voice but he’s not the only great singer on this planet. For the record, there’s no hate or anger here, but this simply wasn’t working out anymore. We wish him all the best in his future career. To be continued… Stephan, Paul, Ed, Theo."

30 years after their formation Swedish MEFISTO fill finally release their debut full-length "2. 0. 1. 6" via Vic Records. The album was recorded in Stockholm, mastered by Dan Swanö and the coverartwork comes courtesy of Roberto Toderico. A digital single release of the track ‘Void’ will already be available on December 14, 2015. Spanish Death Metallers BIZARRE have been signed by Xtreem Music. The band has just uploaded a demo version of ‘Moldy And Decomposed’ at this location. The song will also be included on their upcoming 5-song debut EP “Inner Necropolis” which is scheduled to be recorded in January 2016 at Moontower Studios in Barcelona. Canadian technical Death Metallers GORGUTS will be touring Europe in March and April 2016 with PSYCOPTIC, DYSRHYTHMIA and NERO DI MARTE as their support acts. Comatose Music have signed San Diego’s PATHOLOGY for the release of their first full-length in nearly two years. The album is currently in the final stages of the writing process and expected for a Summer 2016 release.
