Spanish old school Death Metallers DECAPITATED CHRIST have released a video from their upcoming fourth album "Arcane Ceremonies Impurity". You can check out ‘Sabbath Of The Blind Dead’ here. "Arcane Ceremonies Impurity" has been recorded and mixed in December 2013 at Moontower Studios by Javi Félez and was mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound Studios, Sweden. The artwork will once again be created by Cesar Valladares (NECROPSY, UNDER THE CHURCH, ALTAR OF BETELGEUZE, INSULTERS). The band is currently unsigned and looking for a label to release the album. AT THE GATES have announced that they are working on a comeback studio album with the classic "Slaughter Of The Soul"line-up. The album will be entitled "At War With Reality" and is expected to be released worldwide by the end of 2014 via Century Media Records. The band has issued the following official statement: "So, here we are almost 24 years since the birth of AT THE GATES, and some 18+ years since our latest album "Slaughter Of The Soul". A lot of years have passed and we have embarked on some life-changing reunion tours and shows the last couple of years. So, why make a new album you might ask, and why now? Well, what we learned from the last couple of years hanging out and playing shows together, is that we enjoy what we do to the fullest extent. We love playing music together, and we love to hang out as friends. But, as a musician, we constantly write new music. It’s a huge part of our identities. We are fully aware that we have made some very drastic statements in interviews as well as the closing words on the DVD about the longevity of AT THE GATES, but things change, situations change and people change. When Anders sent the first song last summer, we had zero expectations of the outcome. We only knew one thing – that it sounded amazing! At the time we weren’t even sure there would be an album, but as things progressed, more songs came into existence, and we knew we were on to something great. On February 28, 2014 Skol Records will reissue the classic S.A. SLAYER album "Go For The Throat" along with the "Prepare To Die" EP for the first time ever officially on CD (North American territories will be handled by Shadow Kingdom Records). "Go For The Throat" was recorded in 1984 and released as a limited edition vinyl LP four years later, while the "Prepare To Die" EP was both recorded and released in 1983. During their short-lived existence, S.A. SLAYER featured the following musicians in their line-up: Don Van Stavern – bass (RIOT, NARITA), Dave McClain – drums (MACHINE HEAD, CATALEPSY, NARITA, SACRED REICH, JUGGERNAUT), Bob Catlin – guitars (JUGGERNAUT), Steve Cooper – vocals (JUGGERNAUT, NARITA) and Ron Jarzombek – guitars (WATCHTOWER, SPASTIC INK, GORDIAN KNOT). Vic Records will finally release the EXPULSION compilation "Certain Corpses Never Decay" this spring. It will feature both 1989 demos ("Cerebral Cessation" and "Veiled In The Mists Of Mystery"), an unreleased 2-track 7" from 1990 and a compilation only track. Swedish Death Metallers CENTINEX have reformed after a nearly 8-year long hiatus. The band is currently working on a new album and has also announced a show at the Kill Town Death Fest, which takes place in Copenhagen, Denmark on September 04 – 07, 2014. The new CENTINEX line-up consists of the following members: Alexander Högbom – vocals (OCTOBER TIDE, SPASMODIC), Sverker Widgren – guitars (DEMONICAL, DIABOLICAL), Martin Schulman – bass (DEMONICAL, founding member of CENTINEX) and Kennet Englund – drums (INTERMENT, CENTINEX member from 1999 – 2003). On February 28, 2014 BOMBS OF HADES will start recording their 3rd album "Atomic Temples" at Soundlab Studio. Here are some updates from Jonas Stålhammar about the present situation: "Studio is now booked and we start recording the basic tracks (drums, guitars, bass) at Soundlab Studios Örebro, February 28th. Then do the vocals, overdubbs, solos, mellotrons / moogs etc. in Västerås mid March and then mix / master the album in Gothenburg at Welfare Sounds (where we did the last album) late March." The release is scheduled for May 2014 via War Anthem Records on CD and vinyl. Before that, at the end of January, Pulverised Records will release a BOMBS OF HADES compilation, entitled "Through The Dark Past", which will feature remastered versions of all the band’s EPs and splits, from the "Carnivores" 7" up till the "No Life" 10" split with Sweden’s MORDBRAND, plus four brand new tracks, exclusively for this release. Brazil Death Metallers POISONOUS have announced HERETIC EXECUTION’s Alexander "DisgraceDeath" Nunes as their new vocalist.
