Italy’s ABHOR will be entering Vinum Sabbati Studio soon to record their sixth album "Ritualia Stramonium". It will feature Wildness Perversion from MORTUARY DRAPE on drums and is supposed to be released through Moribund Records by the end of the year. U.S. Death Metallers BLOODSOAKED have launched a campaign to raise funds for their fourth full-length album, "Religious Apocalypse" (to be released later this year via Comatose Music) at this location. The band’s main man Peter Hasselbrack issued the following official statement: "We took less money from our record label this time around so we could secure the digital rights to BLOODSOAKED’s music and give back to the fans. With our new deal with Comatose Music we now have the rights to give away all BLOODSOAKED’s music absolutely free via the BLOODSOAKED web site. What does this mean to you…? Florida’s MASSACRE will release their new full-length "Back From Beyond" via Century Media Records on March 24, 2014 in Europe and April 01, 2014 in North America. The album was recorded and mixed at CGM Studios in Altamonte Springs, Florida with producer Tim Vazquez and the tracklist reads like this: ‘As We Wait To Die’, ‘Ascension Of The Deceased’, ‘Hunter’s Blood’, ‘Darkness Fell’, ‘False Revelation’, ‘Succumb To Rapture’, ‘Remnants Of Hatred’, ‘Shield Of The Son’, ‘The Evil Within’, ‘Sands Of Time’, ‘Beast Of Vengeance’, ‘Back From Beyond’ and ‘Honor The Fallen’. AT THE GATES have announced that they are working on a comeback studio album with the classic "Slaughter Of The Soul"line-up. The album will be entitled "At War With Reality" and is expected to be released worldwide by the end of 2014 via Century Media Records. The band has issued the following official statement: "So, here we are almost 24 years since the birth of AT THE GATES, and some 18+ years since our latest album "Slaughter Of The Soul". A lot of years have passed and we have embarked on some life-changing reunion tours and shows the last couple of years. So, why make a new album you might ask, and why now? Well, what we learned from the last couple of years hanging out and playing shows together, is that we enjoy what we do to the fullest extent. We love playing music together, and we love to hang out as friends. But, as a musician, we constantly write new music. It’s a huge part of our identities. On February 28, 2014 Skol Records will reissue the classic S.A. SLAYER album "Go For The Throat" along with the "Prepare To Die" EP for the first time ever officially on CD (North American territories will be handled by Shadow Kingdom Records). "Go For The Throat" was recorded in 1984 and released as a limited edition vinyl LP four years later, while the "Prepare To Die" EP was both recorded and released in 1983. During their short-lived existence, S.A. SLAYER featured the following musicians in their line-up: Don Van Stavern – bass (RIOT, NARITA), Dave McClain – drums (MACHINE HEAD, CATALEPSY, NARITA, SACRED REICH, JUGGERNAUT), Bob Catlin – guitars (JUGGERNAUT), Steve Cooper – vocals (JUGGERNAUT, NARITA) and Ron Jarzombek – guitars (WATCHTOWER, SPASTIC INK, GORDIAN KNOT). Vic Records will finally release the EXPULSION compilation "Certain Corpses Never Decay" this spring. Swedish Death Metallers CENTINEX have reformed after a nearly 8-year long hiatus. The band is currently working on a new album and has also announced a show at the Kill Town Death Fest, which takes place in Copenhagen, Denmark on September 04 – 07, 2014. The new CENTINEX line-up consists of the following members: Alexander Högbom – vocals (OCTOBER TIDE, SPASMODIC), Sverker Widgren – guitars (DEMONICAL, DIABOLICAL), Martin Schulman – bass (DEMONICAL, founding member of CENTINEX) and Kennet Englund – drums (INTERMENT, CENTINEX member from 1999 – 2003). On February 28, 2014 BOMBS OF HADES will start recording their 3rd album "Atomic Temples" at Soundlab Studio. Here are some updates from Jonas Stålhammar about the present situation: "Studio is now booked and we start recording the basic tracks (drums, guitars, bass) at Soundlab Studios Örebro, February 28th. Then do the vocals, overdubbs, solos, mellotrons / moogs etc. in Västerås mid March and then mix / master the album in Gothenburg at Welfare Sounds (where we did the last album) late March." The release is scheduled for May 2014 via War Anthem Records on CD and vinyl. Before that, at the end of January, Pulverised Records will release a BOMBS OF HADES compilation, entitled "Through The Dark Past", which will feature remastered versions of all the band’s EPs and splits, from the "Carnivores" 7" up till the "No Life" 10" split with Sweden’s MORDBRAND, plus four brand new tracks, exclusively for this release. Brazil Death Metallers POISONOUS have announced HERETIC EXECUTION’s Alexander "DisgraceDeath" Nunes as their new vocalist.
