This is the first MCD from Belgium’s AEONS OF OLD, but the core of this five piece already started in 1997 under the name ANAEMICA. To make a long story short: AEONS OF OLD simply perform cool 90s like Death Metal, which doesn’t sound typical Swedish or US based. You simply get all elements of the good old Death Metal kitchen mixed in a pure and solid way, played tight and groovy. Basically nothing ground shaking but simply entertaining with diversity. The production is also done really well, so all those who like their Death Metal not of the typical cliche type or based on the latest trends should keep an eye on it. By the way, do you remember Belgium’s EXOTO? If you do, then imagine a bit more modern style but also a sitting between many chairs of Death Metal.
