When Singapore’s CARDIAC NECROPSY released their album "Shayateen" last year, it was clear that this couldn’t come from out of nowhere. In fact they were active for twenty years (with a longer break at the end of the 1990s). Vrykoblast Productions released two more records with stuff they recorded. "Sixxxteen Years Of Anal Addict" is a compilation of two rare and self-released EPs, "Sexxxblast Militant" from 2007 and "Scumwhore Superstar", released one year earlier, along with stuff from a split and very old demo recordings. But what we have here has not very much in common with "Shayateen". If the names of the records are not hint enough, just take a look at song titles like ‘Sodomasoblast’, ‘Double Dildo Deliverance’ or ‘Analjuice’ and you might figure it out… Yes, it is stuff usually called Porngrind… Extremely fast Grindcore with vocals which sound like pigs in a meatgrinder and spiced with samples from porno movies. This sounds like it is not worth having an ear on it, and usually this genre offers just pure shit. CARDIAC NECROPSY haven’t missed out one ingredient. But there is one thing which makes them shine out above the majority of the Porngrind genre: they know how to play their instruments… Especially the stuff from "Sexxxblast Militant" shows more than a hint of the precise playing which ennobles "Shayateen". But if you want really good Grind stuff from Singapore, you should better check out WORMROT. Neverthelees there is a highlight on this compilation. The two demo tracks from 1993, ‘Sadistic Bleeding’ and ‘Prophecy Of A God That Doesn’t Exist’ are raw thrashy Death Metal recordings, quite simple but very good stuff for all who like old extreme Metal from once exotic countries, who just had the primitiveness this genre started with.
