Well, this is somehow pretty boring. Sometimes I can not understand why bands like e.g. in this case Dark Tranquillity are celebrated by the media. Off course there are some interesting parts on this new album and of course the band knows how to handle their instruments but still I can not find anything special here that makes this album fascinating. Perhaps I just need some more listens. Perhaps this is an album that grows and grows after every single listening. I don’t know. But what I can tell you for sure is that you do need time to get familiar with that one. Time that is in most times not existing. Fans of the band should for sure buy this as this will certainly be no disapooinment for them!
