DEEDS OF FLESH
Inbreeding The Anthropophagi

California based high speed Death Metal maniacs DEEDS OF FLESH here with their second full-length, original released back in 1998 on Repulse Records. Compared with the debut album “Trading Pieces”, the production is much better. This piece of intense, fast and brutal mind raping Death Metal sounds very powerful. The songwriting has improved a lot and the song structures are more variable than in the past, but it is still heavy, fast and brutal ‘in your face’ Death Metal with powerful deep grunting and high screaming vocals. “Inbreeding The Anthropophagi” was a good album back in 1998 and it still is a good Death Metal album. It’s more fast forward and simple structured than the following two albums “Path Of The Weakening” and of course the latest output “Mark Of The Legion” but there’s absolutely nothing to complain about this album. Great band, great album and a nice cover artwork. If you didn’t purchase it in 1998 you surely have to buy it now.
