Gore Blessed To The Worms

I don’t know this Mexican band as good as the American DISGORGE, but I can tell you that the Mexicans play a gorier and filthier kind of music than the US one. “Gore Blessed To The Worms” is released three years after their last album and it is the first album without the contribution of Antimo, the original bassist and vocalist who quit the band after “Necrholocaust”. As the band lost one of the main men with him, many already gave up on DISGORGE. But luckily, this album proves them all wrong! DISGORGE may have lost someone in the band, but that didn’t affect them too much. “Gore Blessed To The Worms” still comes up with enough gore and the same filthy attitude of the previous albums of DISGORGE. The vocals may be quite different and I can say that it’s not as sick as what Antimo did in the past but both the guitarists (who share these duties now) did a great job. In short, “Gore Blessed To The Worms” can be described as the reincarnation of the “Forensick” album with a much clearer sound, yet still following what they have done on “Necrholocaust”. DISGORGE are still sick!! www.xtreemmusic.com
