First of all: this CD is not 73 minutes long although I wouldn’t have any problems with that at all! The last track is 35 minutes long, but most of the time there is silence (I HATE “hidden tracks” and silly jokes like that!). On the other hand, there is enough music left, so who cares? “Demonic Portraiture” starts with a beautiful acoustic intro followed by an outbreak of mayhem! DISINTER’s Death Metal is quite fast with many slow, doomy or groovy parts making the rage appear even more extreme and the record sounding more variable. Additionally, some sick leads make this album one of the most exciting ones in the last couple of months. These guys are both excellent musicians and songwriters, so go for it! Great dark cover painting, I wish Morbid Recs would put this out on vinyl to see all the details (not only for that reason, of course).
