DISLOYAL
Promo 2002

Poland has always been a good place for brutal Death Metal and DISLOYAL ain’t an exception to that rule! These guys started out in early 1997, recorded a demo called "Desire" and shortly after their debut album "Pessimistic", which quickly secured them a record deal with Demonic Records. To support the release DISLOYAL went on tour with countrymates DEVILYN in 1999 and played in most major cities in Poland. Demonic Records re-released the remastered material from "Pessimistic" together with the "Desire" songs under the new title "Avenger". So far so good. But then problems unfortunately stopped the band’s promising evolution. Not only did two of the original members leave the band in November 2000 (they got replaced by Lukas and Tomash from PANZERFAUST in the meantime), their label also stopped its activities, so that DISLOYAL are forced to look for a new company willing to release their next album. Judging these guys only by the three brand new tunes on this promo it shouldn’t be a big problem though as DISLOYAL musically already play in the same league as similar acts such as DEVILYN, DISSENTER or VADER etc. This is technically perfectly exectuted, very well and quite powerfully produced brutal Death Metal in the vein of classic MORBID ANGEL and the likes. Sure, this ain’t original at all anymore, but to me – no matter what – still totally convincing on its own. So, interested labels should immediately contact the band at these addresses in order to faciliate them the recordings of the next full length. disloyal@polbox.com, disloyal666@poczta.onet.pl, www.disloyal.of.pl
