EGONOIR

“Listening to EGONOIR is like being in a German forest, where you can step any minute on an old bomb shell” proclaims the info-sheet. Well, my humble knowledge about the poor remains of forest in the area in which I live tells me that there actually aren’t that many old bombs lying around, since most allied bombers back in the good old days seemed to be clever enough to drop their load over more populated areas. So you’d better change that sentence into ‘listening to this third-rate BURZUM-clone makes you wish you’d find an old bomb shell you could throw yourself unto just to end this utterly numbing and painful experience’. In true ‘Suicide Black Metal’ fashion they manage to drain the listener of the last spark of life in no time. Their weapons: the poorest of anti-songs, combined with the most laughable attempt at vocals heard in years and the standard ‘below-zero-budget sound’. You know you’re in for a treat when the used samples are the best thing about a record. Next please… www.amortout.com
