ERADICATE from Istanbul are active since 2021 only and the result of this one year is now available as the demo “Demise Towards The Dasein”, which gets unleashed by Godz Ov War. After the short intro ‘Maddening Darkness Of Obscurity‘ the trio presents some real old school Death Metal with the first track ‘Whispering Paranoia’, which offers some groovy old school Death Metal in the vein of bands like old DEICIDE, just to give you a little hint. The vocals vary between deep grunts and some screams and the shredding guitars offer some solid, groovy Death Metal. ‘Involution Within The Void‘ continues the way, but with a more audible bass and and a good doze of blast-beats, paired with cool screams and a really groovy rhythm section. The middle part is slower and influenced by old Doom / Death like ASPHYX or even PARADISE LOST on their first output. Definitely an enjoyable track and surely live a wrecking ball. The last track ‘Pseuodic Liberty Of The Mind‘ starts with a spoken sample before again some groovy Death Metal crawls out of the speakers. Somehow the beginning reminds me of mighty GOREFEST, a band I have not listened to for a longer while, but I guess the Dutch scene left some more of their trademarks in the sound of our Turkish friends, but still a good and groovy Death metal song. All in all, definitely a good demo, which sounds like a demo and not like a over-produced fourth album. Lunatics who like old school Death Metal with a good doze of Doom and like the Dutch way should give these warriors from Istanbul a listen. Hails to ERADICATE.
