HEPATOMANCY
Ego Svm Radix Et Templvm Lvciferi
(Under The Sign Of Garazel Productions)

The Italian Black Metal duo HEPATOMANCY is really new on the scene, as the current year 2021 saw the release of their first EP “De Tyrannide Daemonum” that is also available as a split vinyl album with HELL’S CORONATION. And early 2022 will see their Polish label Under The Sign Of Garazel Productions unleash the first full length album from HEPATOMANCY. “Ego Svm Radix Et Templvm Lvciferi” is nothing less than a pure Black Metal massacre in the vein of WATAIN infected with rabies or MARDUK on full speed. The duo of Tenebrius (guitars and vocals) and Eibon (drums) are mostly raging through their songs on highest speed, with the drums playing the mother of all blast beats. Tenebrius’ guitars are such an inferno that you don’t even miss any bass here. And with the only 20 seconds running bloodbath ‘Luciferian Necrogoatholocaust’, HEPATOMANCY even park their tanks on Grindcore lawns. Yet my favourite songs on “Ego Svm Radix Et Templvm Lvciferi” are the longer ones that slow down a little in between, like ‘Sulphuric Fog Over Transylvania’, ‘Howling At The Bloody Moon’ or the final ‘Requiem For A Vampire’. It’s just because the ultra fast blasts are even more impressing when they don’t stand alone. Garnished with a great and consistent artwork of Bryan Maita (BMS Illustration), this album will be good fodder for all those out there who love rabid Black Metal. And since these guys are often vinyl lunatics: “Ego Svm Radix Et Templvm Lvciferi” will be available on LP as well. Those who are interested can take a preview here.
