LUM
Lunaria - I Racconti Del Falò
(Nigredo Productions)
35:28min

LUM is an atmospheric Black Metal band that was formed in 2020, and this is their debut album after just a previous EP. The style here is sinister, raw and minimalistic, yet the recording is powerful and although the band is influenced by bands like ILDJARN, AGHAST and BURZUM, it can be safely said that the way they deliver their music is definitely in quite a unique way. The music, although based on primitive Black Metal, has definitely a lot more influences, from ’70s progressive Post Rock, classical music and even psychedelia. A thing to note is that they also play with the production sound, giving some songs an even rawer sound or a muffled guitar tone. Additionally the rhythm section is always doing something, so even in this minimalistic approach there is a sense of creativity. Many songs do have intros, setting the tone for the horrific fate approaching. This is not for everyone, yet those daring to enter this portals of hell will probably find something. And yes, everything is sung in Italian, so the horror and beauty is complete. More information at: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064669129751, www.facebook.com/nigredorecords
