NAPALM TED
Into A Black Ooze
(self-financed)
13:24min

With a band name like NAPALM TED and six songs (plus intro) in less than a quarter of an hour the knowing listener knows what to expect. Just founded last year the Finnish based trio convinced me with the "Swallow" entitled EP. My fellow contributor Anders Peter Jørgensen pointed out the balanced mixture of Punk, Grindcore, Speed / Thrash / Death Metal and Hardcore. And guess what? Nothing has changed! NAPALM TED are still beating the hell out of their instruments. And like the predecessor this one is only available via digital download or in a very strictly limited tape version. 20 recycled cassettes, only 1€ from Hobo Tapes, also located in Finland. The only aspect I am bit worried about is the vagueness about the band’s agenda. Just some kind of fun project? Or are NAPALM TED keen on label deal, full-length and touring? Of course this question does in no way affect the excellent music, but I really hate it when promising bands disappear into limbo.
