Grindcore über alles! Hard to believe that NECROMORPH started in 1995 as a Black Metal band, considering the grinding attack that “World’s Disgrace” gives to our ears. The cover artwork is a statement: multinational corporations’ logo, fighter plane, guns, anti-gas mask! The similarity to “Scum” by NAPALM DEATH is evident and when you start listening to the whole album the Birmingham Grinders also come to mind. A mix of Grindcore and Death Metal that is perfectly matched with Hardcore Punk influences. And this is a winning mix for this album. TERRORIZER, REPULSION, BRUTAL TRUTH, SIEGE are the main influences on the whole compositions and every Grindcore ingredient is in the right place: blast beat, raw voice, short length, Hardcore roots. The singing in the German language is a plus that gives more energy to the grinding. I’m sure every extreme Metal fan will enjoy “World’s Disgrace”. NECROMORPH are starting to promote the album with some live dates, so make sure to check the band out at www.facebook.com/necromorphband.
