Nachhut: Toward The Towering Tomb

Death Metal from Germany that is influenced by old school Death with phenomenal atmosphere and execution? That’s what NEKROVAULT is about. “Nachhut: Toward The Towering Tomb” is a limited edition (999 hand numbered copies) digi MCD that will be out on the 26th of November this year. This 19 minutes and 12 seconds aural assault is a welcome one. NEKROVALUT make no mistakes, they simply delve deep into the spirit of atmospheric Death Metal and lay it all out as simply as a hunter shoots an arrow. ‘Where The Fog Entombed The Light’, the opening track, is a 10 minutes long one that the band simply breezes past you, filling your senses with a vision of a dimly lit cave, with prehistoric drawings of war and savagery. Although in a sense, NEKROVAULT draws in spiritually from Black Metal, the resulting output is a Death Metal fan’s delight. The atmosphere is spectacular, with the guitars drifting in and out of it, presented as an armament to the vision, NEKROVAULT executes their torment perfectly. There is no need for a molecular level analysis, just press play! The two songs here, as stated by Ván Records are remnants of the “Totenzug: Festering Peregrination” session. Recommended! If possible, get a copy, the artwork is spectacular and we know Ván Records is all about quality! For more information, please visit: www.facebook.com/nekrovault, www.van-records.com
