PHOBIA
22 Random Acts Of Violence
(Candlelight Records)
28:58min

Grindcore is for sure no music… for the weak. PHOBIA are still around to torment the Grindcore community with their next assault easily called "22 Random Acts Of Violence". If we are taking only the mere facts into account every song should be around 1:19 minutes and nobody will expect anything else than the purest form of musical aggression. The band is part of the US Grind scene for nearly 20 years and I think that after the ‘recent’ success of bands like NASUM or ROTTEN SOUND there are for sure more lunatics out there who need this daily dose of Grindcore to make the day. The album is offering 30 minutes of good played and maybe much more important also good recorded Grindcore with some minor modern influences but I think that it’s still a release for the Grindcore fanatics only. All others will look for a more melodic but nevertheless still aggressive Death Metal release – including myself. www.candlelightrecords.co.uk, www.myspace.com/phobiagrindcore
