Not since the days when ABSU was actively pursuing the underworld with their "Temples Of Offal" and bands like ORDER FROM CHAOS, INCANTATION, GOREAPHOBIA and NECROSION were hot on the tongues of the avid U/G fiend, has an actual brand new band from the States emerged with such a filthy and violent first demo tape! Featuring four songs that ooze with the black blood of ages past, the scandalous heresy once attributed to the now rotted corpse of American Death Metal. To say that PROSANCTUS INFERI is refreshing to hear is an understatement. Those that give this demo tape a listen will no doubt agree with that and shall be more than satiated with the band’s brand of heinous hymns. As PROSANCTUS INFERNI have done what few could, dare I say what even many veteran acts have wrought in recent years, and that is bring back the passion, the reek of unholy death, and have forged this with the brutality that can only be made from hellfires below! In these weak times of Metal, the blatant disregard of those acts who ought to be touted across the earth from one gutter to another, the putrid gluttony of it all where the over hyped and talent-less seem to be snatching up all the glory in numerous glossy covered magazines and major label rosters.
