Swedish Death Metallers REPUKED return with their fourth full-length album, “Club Squirting Blood”. True to their notorious reputation built over 17 years, this album extends on the grotesque exploration of the darker side of human existence, drenched in explicitness and gory imagery. The latest line-up of Rob the Slob (bass, vocals), Nicke Piss (guitars, vocals), Richard Rimjob (guitars, vocals), and Mad Masx (drums) carrying on their style, delivering a relentless barrage of sound by blending classic Death Metal with elements of blackened Punk and filthy Rock’n’Roll. The explicitness of this record marks from the album kicks off with ‘Stiff Dick In A Stiff’. The name says it all along with the repulsive sound it generates. It’s an altogether visceral experience, one that invites listeners to stride through a cesspool of chaotic riffs and maniacal vocals, reminiscent of classic AUTOPSY and IMPETIGO. Especially, the track ‘Parasitic Flesh’ stands out with its desolate riffages, evoking classic ENTOMBED while maintaining the band’s signature lo-fi aesthetic. Likewise, the morbidness of ‘Rebel Of Vomit’, the title track and album closer ‘Stench Inhaler’ further pushed the limits of taste and decency. And this feeling will linger long after the record finishes with awe of what just experienced in below 35 minutes of record length! The production is raw yet refined enough to expose the technical prowess of these maniacs, allowing the intricate musicianship to shine through the grime.
