When you listen to a Metal band from Poland, maybe BEHEMOTH, VADER and DECAPITATED comes to your mind. It is obvious that Poland has had some of the best musical contributions in the Metal history, especially on the extreme side. Well, let me present you a new force called SERPENT SEED. This young band from Lask displays more obscure atmosphere when it comes to their compositions. You can definitely hear some old BEHEMOTH ("Pandemonic Incantations" era) influences with a more Black Metal type of vocals in some parts. Production wise, there’s nothing wrong because it fits the sound perfectly, you will not hear anything over or under produced here, just what prevails in this kind of sound. Songs to pay attention to are ‘I Spit On Your Cross’, ‘Plonie Stos’ and ‘Unholy Trinity’. There’s not much left to say about SERPENTS BREED besides being a newcomer with a considerable potential to raise some eye brows. You won’t find anything new here if you are looking for the flavor of the week but I can tell you, fans of DARK FUNERAL, SPAZMOSITY and even WATAIN could easily get comfortable with "Debris Of Faith".
