SKELETHAL
Interstellar Knowledge Of The Purple Entity

Earlier this year, the French duo SKELETHAL already killed me with their first EP “Deathmanicvs Revelation”. I just loved the sheer passion for Metal of Death Gui Haunting and Jon Whiplash put in these six songs. And within not even a year’s span, they are out for blood again. “Interstellar Knowledge Of The Purple Entity” is the title of another mini album, that is as fuckin brilliant as its predecessor. It shows the same passion for Death Metal, the Swedish way, and an even slightly better feeling for great songwriting. The production runs down everything in its way. So it is no wonder that after the spooky intro piece ‘Subterranean Sigh’ (would fit any horror movie perfectly) it takes just a split second to know how the wind blows. ‘Sabbatical Demonic Invocation’ starts off as if it is 1991 again and walks the left hand path in the end, which means this one ends in a doomier way, with that special groove and finest lead guitars. The title track ‘Interstellar Knowledge Of The Purple Entity’ is a Death Metal song with big balls and so much frenzy, it nearly hurts. Huge! Damn huge! And the third own song ‘Slaughtered From Beyond’ is of the same quality, GRAVE would be proud of this one! Finally, we have ‘Torn Apart’, a CARNAGE cover tune, that’s done very true to the original spirit. And this cover underlines how great SKELETHAL are, since it stands in line perfectly with the band’s original songs. So, if you still haven’t, lend SKELETHAL your ear and get slaughtered from beyond! As it was with “Deathmanicvs Revelation”, it is with “Interstellar Knowledge Of The Purple Entity”, too. Iron Bonehead made the vinyl version and Caligari is responsible for the tape, that is limited to 150 copies this time and comes, as usual, with a printed folder and in finest quality. So, be sure to check the band at: skelethal.bandcamp.com. For the labels, go to www.caligarirecords.com or www.ironbonehead.de
