TERROR 2000
Slaughter In Japan

Thrashers TERROR 2000 from Sweden feature SOILWORK’s vocalist and a guitar player from DARKANE. They have recorded two studio albums so far and during their Japan tour with DESTRUCTION they have taken the chance to record this live album in Tokyo in May 2003. TERROR 2000 performed eight own songs and a very trashy cover version of ELVIS PRESLEY’s ‘(You’re The) Devil In Disguise’. The songwriting quality is flawless but unfortunately the sound of these live recordings is definitely not on their side. Their fast Thrash Metal assaults are limited by a powerless sound which takes away far too much energy from the band’s aggressive performance. Guitars, drums and vocals sound unpleasingly dull. This fact makes this album at the utmost appealing for fans who already know the songs. To avoid any misconceptions about TERROR 2000, people who dig fast Thrash Metal should better check out the two studio albums first.
