Even though I already wrote the same about another release by Iron, Blood And Death Corporation, “Cults Of Black Death” is a pretty fitting title. This time it starts with VIOLENT SCUM, who roll down everything that stands in their way with an ominous, dark wall of guitars and drums. The extremely guttural but also understandable vocals then give the listener the death knell. Always on the verge of chaos, but without losing grip and captivation. These four songs are really very impressive, a more rude and unpolished version of IMMOLATION or INCANTATION with a splendid dose of MORBID ANGEL. I immediately put the debut “Ornaments Of Bloodshed” from 2020 on my shopping list. CAMBION are no strangers and have already made a positive impression with their demo “Unfold Chaos Supreme” and debut “Conflagrate The Celestial Refugium” on this page. The main focus here is on the high speed Death Metal in the vein of KRISIUN. Here, too, one has the impression that this is a rawer and more original form of this style. In short, Iron, Blood And Death Corporation has also hit the mark with this split release, fans of rude, brute and primordial Death Metal will get their money’s worth here.
