The first full album of WORMWOOD from Swedish capital Stockholm is an album that leaves questions unanswered. The main question for me was: where should I dump this rubbish so it won’t cause severe harm to the environment? Or to ears of those who love their Black Metal hard and trve? WORMWOOD want to be a melodic Black Metal band, but the stuff on “Ghostlands: Wounds From A Bleeding Earth” sounds more like a very ridiculous attempt of SABATON trying to play Black Metal. The melodies are cheap and pungent, the riffs are not really exciting, the vocals are wanna-be-evil and the band looks like that, just a little more embarrassing.
