EXUMER have premiered the video to the title track of their last album "Fire & Damnation" at this location. Swedish Death Metallers SORCERY have inked a deal with Xtreem Music for the release of their second full length album. The band split up in 1997 and reformed in 2009, recording two demos before signing to Xtreem Music. SORCERY is currently working on their new album, over 20 years after their debut. Still untitled, it’s being partly recorded with Tomas Skogsberg at Sunlight Studios, the same studio used in 1991 for "Bloodchilling Tales". Seven out of the nine songs on the album are brand new, written with the latest line-up, consisting of original members Ola Malmström (vocals), Paul Johansson (guitar) and the two new members, John Falk (drums) and Mikael Carlsson (bass). The other two songs, ‘Master Of The Chains’ and ‘Maculated Life’ were written during the bands earlier days and will perfectly link the old material with the new. The cover artwork is being drawn by Daniel Devilish, while the recordings will be finished around November for an expected release in January 2013 on CD with a vinyl version later on. In the meantime listen to the two new songs ‘Warbringer‘ and ‘Created From Darkness And Rage‘ featured on the band’s "Warbringer" pre-production demo 2012 which are being re-recorded for the album with better sound, production and arrangements.

Belgian melodic Black Metallers SAILLE have entered Shumcot Studios in Aartrijke (Belgium) with producer Reinier Schenk (GORATH, FLESHMOULD) to begin recording their as yet untitled new album, for a January 2013 release via Code666 Records. Keyboard player Dries Gaerdelen commented: "When creating our new album, I did research on and was inspired by several ancient destruction rituals. The new songs are therefore darker, faster, more aggressive and create a feeling of unease. The lyrics written by frontman Dennie Grondelaers, explore the history of those death rites. With the drums being recorded a while ago, we’ve all got a "recording state of mind" and have a feeling we’re creating more than just songs. We’re looking forward to unleashing our creations on the audience, both on CD and live!" The artwork will be created by Polish digital landscape artist Michal Karcz who also developed the bands former artwork. Swedish Death Metallers ERUPTED will be releasing their debut full-length "In The Grip Of Chaos" via Abyss Records later this year. The track ‘That Which Is Denied Gains Power’ is currently streaming at this location. The band commented: "During the last months of 2011 until April of 2012 we have been doing recordings for our upcoming album. We haven’t had a lot of time to play live, socialize or even drink beer. But now, more than half a year after it was started, our album is on the finishing stretch, and we can proudly present one of the tracks. This album is going to consist of both new and old tracks, some of which our longtime listeners might remember from live shows or earlier recordings.We are currently looking for shows for our summer, and hopefully we will be out showcasing our new material a lot, so keep an eye out for live videos and recordings to get sneak previews of more songs! The whole studio experience has been special because both bass and drums was recorded on an analog tape recorder, which meant a lot of retakes, but we hope that some of the ”live” feeling got recorded on there as well. Besides that the recording experience has been good.
