Norwegian blackened Thrash Metallers THE KONSORTIUM will release their second album "Rogaland" on June 01, 2018 in Europe and June 08, 2018 in North America via Agonia Records. The band features bass player Teloch (MAYHEM, ex – ORCUSTUS, ex – GORGOROTH, ex – 1349) and drummer Dirge Rep (ORCUSTUS, ex – ENSLAVED, ex – AURA NOIR). The latter commented on the album as follows: "It’s the most technical and demanding album of my somewhat 25 years under Black Metal. I am extremely grateful for the honor of performing under THE KONSORTIUM and dedicated myself in entirety to the excellence of the work, its will and its energy". "Rogaland" was produced by F.G. Fugelli and mixed and mastered by Gomez at Orgone Studios (PARADISE LOST, ULVER, GRAVE PLEASURES, PRIMORDIAL). The cover artwork / layout was designed by Trine+Kim (ULVER, DARKTHRONE, VIRUS). Cpt. San Jose, California based one-man old school Death Metal band RIPPED TO SHREDS, featuring Andrew Lee (ex – DISINCARNATION), has just released another track of their forthcoming debut full length "Mai-Zang". You can check out ‘Red Annihilation’ right here. The album’s opening track ‘Craven Blood’ is furthermore streaming at this location. "Mai-Zang" will be out via Malaysia’s Necrolatry Records (cassette) and Mexico’s Craneo Negro Records (CD). The mix and mastering was done by Damian Herring (HORRENDOUS) at Subterranean Watchtower Studios and the artwork was created by Skaðvaldur.
