Ominous Bloodline

Malta’s finest, most brutal and well known Death Metal outfit is back again to crush everything into pieces. After the very strong “Recounts Of Disembodiment” album Californian based Unique Leader Records caught this extreme horde and added them to their high quality roster. The fruits of their co-operation can be heard on the “Ominous Bloodline” album which is nothing else than a lesson of how brutal Death Metal shall sound. It’s unbelievable but this five-piece was even able to top the excellent predecessor. What you get on this nine tracker is extreme brutal, sinister and first class US style Death Metal. All the tracks are on a high technical level, precisely like a surgeons scalpel but despite the high standard everything flows… it’s out of one piece. The rhythm section is fast and ultra tight, destroying everything what crosses its path. The guitars deliver one killer riff after another and the ultra guttural vokills are the icing on the cake. There is also enough variation on this disc and no track sounds the same. You have extreme blast beats, ass tight grooves, morbid mid tempo parts, effective tempo changes, some great leads and all spiced with some old school Death influences to a high explosive, lethal alloy of total raging steel. Everything is wrapped in an excellent, powerful and crispy production / sound which leaves nothing to be desired. These five warriors from the beautiful Mediterranean island will for sure drive every fan of brutal Death Metal insane. And I don’t need to be a fortune-teller to tell you that this band can be considered as one of the best in this genre and will play on the top in the brutal Death Metal league. “Ominous Bloodline” is another proof by Unique Leader for their keen sense of high quality acts. So there is no excuse for extreme Metalheads not to get this gem. Buy or die! For merchandise please contact the label at www.uniqueleader.com and visit the bands web site under www.beheaded.net
