BLACK BLEEDING
A Bright Future

BLACK BLEEDING is a horde hailing from Belgium that is active since 1999. Their third opus, “A Bright Future”, has been self-released on CD by the band already in 2014 and now gets re-released on tape via Nihilistic Holocaust. The presented eight tracks are a mixture of late 80s / early 90s Death and Black Metal, a time when bands like BEHERIT or IMPALED NAZARENE made their first musical steps. Pure and brutal and kind of primitive Metal, similar to the style IMPALED NAZARENE used to play on their debut release “Tol Cormpt Norz Norz Norz”. Even some influences of Punk found their way into the band’s sound. Changing between slower and faster, aggressive parts, the band also shows their skills in form of some well-chosen Heavy Metal tunes which have been carefully incorporated into their sound. Even though their musical skills are definitely there, the band chose to play a raw and primitive style while their influences sounded that way, due to lack of musical experience and their young age back in the days. The influences of the early Black Metal scene from Finland are obvious but nowadays not too many bands intentionally choose to play this kind of style. The production is also raw and kept simple but surely better than the old demos from the Finnish bands (huh? – Frank). If you are into this old style or simply enjoy raw Death / Black Metal, make sure to check the band out at the following locations: http://blackbleeding.bandcamp.com, www.facebook.com/beerbleeding, http://nihilistic-webzine-distro.fr
