CEREKLOTH
Pandemonium Prayers

Brutal Swedish Death Metal that’s what this fuckin’ 7" EP is all about. I have no clue about the history of CEREKLOTH and I’m too lazy to search the internet for information. Everything I do is "let the music do the talking", and the music is impressive (once again on a Blood Harvest release, haha). First up: the sound kills. It’s not that natural to expect such a brutal sound on a 7" EP. This piece of vinyl features 3 songs of which one is a cover version of DEICIDE’s ‘Lunatic Of Gods Creation’. To be totally honest I’d say that this cover version was not necessary at all as the 2 other songs ‘Pandemonium Prayers’ and ‘Touch Of The Scythe’ are killer tracks themselves and I would have preferred to have a third own composition on here. ‘Lunatic Of Gods Creation’ is a great song anyway and is covered here great, too. Well, CEREKLOTH are one brutal newcomer (?) with tight musicianship and cool songs. Though they don’t offer something new or groundbreaking, just a recording of highest quality, which fits just perfect to the already amazing Blood Harvest back-catalogue and not only with the great songs, with a fantastic layout, too. I’m sure this isn’t the last time they impress me. And friends, I like this bandname a lot.
