Formed in Dolombi in 2014, this is the second album of lo-fi Occult Metal which has equal parts of old school Heavy Metal, Black Metal, Speed Metal, but no touches of Punk. Actually the recording, although sounding weird, and lacking a bit of power, fits the music quite well. The usual suspects for influences are here in the form of MOTÖRHEAD, VENOM, BATHORY and also some old Heavy Metal like OZ, TYGERS OF PANG TANG and OMEN to name a few. Yes, I know that nowadays there are countless bands of what can be described as Black’n’Roll, but then again, a good riff is a good riff, and if the band is not afraid to use some sweet bluesy riffs here and there, I see no evil… I just worship evil with this music! Yes, you will say that MIDNIGHT’s sound is not far away, but believe me this is sometimes so tasty it’s scary. The main riff and the solo at the beginning of ‘Lucifer Wisdom’ is just fantastic, and then they fall into a more Black Metal sound in such a way that it’s just pure genius. For my taste, a bit stronger production would make this more enjoyable, but then again probably this has its own charm. Oh, and great solos by the way. Looking forward for more material of this band! www.facebook.com/crossroarr, www.facebook.com/ibdc666
