Just almost a month ago I was reviewing their magnificent debut MCD “Heavy Death” and here we go again, their debut full-length aptly titled “Morbid Death”. These Ludvika, Sweden native youngsters have done it again! This new effort really crushes everything done before, intense old school Swedish Death Metal, ten tracks of pure aggression, intense neck-breaking riffs, blessed with a brutal crushing production as we always wanted to listen!!! Just think of NIHILIST / ENTOMBED mixed with GRAVE and GOD MACABRE, adding some touches of the resurrected INTERMENT and newer acts like BOMBS OF HADES, hell yesssssssss!!!! This album shreds everything coming from Sweden in the last times! Pure Death Metal with that D-Beat touch. Just check out cuts like ‘From The Tomb’ or ‘Behead The Dead’ or the start-kicker ‘Rotten’ (what a well-deserved title)… The only negative point is the short length of this godly release (again), only 33 minutes, enough for a sudden death. For your insane pleasure "Morbid Death" was mixed and mastered by Karl Daniel Lidén at Tri-Lamb Studios and features Per "Sodomizer" Eriksson (BLOODBATH), who played a guest guitar solo on the songs ‘Rotten’ and ‘Feast On The Priest’. The cover art was done by Marcus Hansson and the band’s logo by Anders "Blakkheim" Nyström (BLOODBATH, KATATONIA). So bastards, take your money and send it to Memento Mori and get your own copy.
