Violent Speed Assault

I know there’s a band by the same name in Sweden, but let me tell you forget ’em!! Only ENFORCER from Chile is real and rules! This is not the so-called “Thrash” that some record labels are trying to force on us. I don’t buy it! And unlike the wimpy Power Metal-posing-as-Thrash of their Swedish namesake, ENFORCER from Chile are the real Thrash thing! I dunno if their name is taken from the mighty RAZOR but their CD’s opening instrumental attack ‘Onslaught Of Steel’ is very fast and similar to the Canucks. Great way to start an album! But wait! ‘Death Aggressor’ kicks in at the same hyperspeed Thrash Metal of INCUBUS’ (Louisiana) “Serpent Temptation” and now we are being fucking pummeled! Some good and heavy Thrash Metal vocals not copying Mille (unlike so many jokes called retro Thrash Metal), courtesy of guitarist Rodrigo. Also some ripping solos by lead(?) guitarist Ignacio (credited on the CD as responsible for “noise”) add to the deliciously disgusting Thrash flavor! All in all this is an extremely good real Thrash Metal that does not let up! Intense! I think it is just right for it to be under 30 minutes. Trust me, you will be satisfied after “Violent Speed Assault” ends… and then you will play it again!! www.utterlysomber.com, angeldelujuria@msn.com, enforcer_of_evil@hotmail.com
