HAEMORRHAGE
Haematology

It’s time to raise the scalpels for all medicine students and listen to the apprentieceship of the blood diseases which were musically downwritten in 34 tracks. I think it’s not necessary to say that if you’re a big CARCASS fan then you have to dig four pathfollowers namely EXHUMED, GENERAL SURGERY, IMPALED and fuck yeah Madrid’s HAMORRHAGE. Sure there are a lot better and even a lot more worse clones around, but it’s no secret that AVULSED have one big opposition in the fight for the Hispanic extreme Metal throne and HAEMORRHAGE are hard as fuck to be beaten. HAEMORRHAGE really managed to bulid a cult status as an honest extreme Gore/Grind band, which has its roots deeply in the early 90s and layout and visually it’s great to see that their pathology comic figure has become a sort of "Eddie" to the Grindcore scene. Shortly said here you get all 7" EP and split 7" EP tracks that HAEMORRHAGE did since 1995, being one of the first Morbid Records releases back then. The versions are remastered and all in all we talk about 10 EPs, all visualised in the booklet with basic information, split bands and some cool liner notes. It’s like a crusade through their bandhistory, enclosing covers of DEAD INFECTION, CARCASS and GERNERAL SURGERY as well. Sure for collectors there’s nothing stronger than having the original vinyls on the own collector altar, but for all the lazy folks, mainly those who prefer the CD medium this is a cool solution to fullfill your pathological deeds. "Haematology" is done with dedication and I love the drawn comic artworkstyle done by guitarist Luisma himself. HAEMORRHAGE are still a light in this release fullshitten Death / Grind scene and this band has something that a lot of of those so called brutal bands are lacking: an indvidual and recognizable way of sound and songwriting!!!
